Terms and Conditions

1. Who We Are

Astronix ("we", "us", "our") is a website design and management service operated by [your name], trading as a sole trader in England. Astronix designs, builds, and maintains websites for local, appointment and enquiry-driven businesses ("you", "your", "the Client").

2. What We Provide

  • A friction audit of your current website, or an initial discovery conversation if you don't have one yet
  • A custom-built website ("the Site"), built and hosted by us
  • Ongoing hosting, updates, and monitoring for as long as your monthly plan is active
  • A number of included monthly changes and, during the build phase, a number of included review rounds, both set by the tier you choose (see Section 4)

3. The Process

  • Friction Audit, completed within 1 business day of us having what we need from you.
  • Sign-Up & Payment, you choose a tier, we confirm scope and price, and payment secures your build slot.
  • Rebuild, your first working version is delivered within 24-48 hours of payment. You then review it and request changes through your included review rounds until you're happy, then we launch.
  • Ongoing Management, hosting, updates, monitoring, and your included monthly changes, for as long as your plan is active.

Timelines in Section 3 depend on us having the information and content we need from you. Delays in providing this will delay the corresponding step.

4. Pricing, Payment, and What's Included

One-time setup fee, review rounds during the build, and monthly plan price and included changes all depend on your chosen tier, as set out on our pricing page at the time you sign up. Current tiers:

  • Starter: 2 review rounds during build; monthly plan includes 1 small change per month
  • Professional: 4 review rounds during build; monthly plan includes 3 small changes per month
  • Authority: unlimited review rounds within the build window; monthly plan includes 5 small changes per month

"Small change" means a text, image, or minor content update completable in a short amount of time. Larger requests (new pages, structural changes, redesigns) fall outside included changes and will be quoted separately before any work begins.

The one-time setup fee is payable before work on Step 3 (Rebuild) begins. Once work has started, the one-time fee is non-refundable, reflecting the time already committed. The monthly plan is billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at any time, effective from your next billing date.

5. Hosting and the Monthly Plan

Your monthly plan is what keeps your Site hosted, secure, updated, and live. It begins when your Site launches.

If your monthly plan payment fails or you cancel, we will send two reminder emails and give 14 days' notice before your Site is taken offline. During this period your Site remains live and unchanged. After the notice period, if the plan hasn't been reinstated, hosting will be suspended and the Site will no longer be accessible at your domain.

Your domain name is and remains your property regardless of your plan status (see Section 6). If your Site is taken offline, your domain simply stops pointing at a live site until you either reinstate your plan or choose to host elsewhere.

If you decide to leave Astronix entirely, on request we will provide an export of your Site's files within a reasonable timeframe. You may need independent technical help to redeploy them elsewhere, this isn't an automated handover, but you are never permanently unable to obtain your own Site.

6. Ownership

  • Your domain belongs to you. We do not register or hold your domain on your behalf.
  • Your content (business information, copy you provide, your own photos and branding) remains yours at all times.
  • Your Site, once your one-time setup fee is paid in full, is yours. We retain no exclusive rights over the specific site built for you, though we may reuse general techniques, layouts, and methods across other clients' projects.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and content needed to complete your Site. Timelines described in Section 3 run from when we receive what we need from you, not from the date of sign-up.

8. No Guaranteed Results

We build websites designed to reduce friction and support enquiries and bookings. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, traffic levels, enquiry volumes, or booking numbers, these depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, your response times, and factors beyond the website itself.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business or lost enquiries.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly plan at any time, effective from your next billing date, per Section 5. The one-time setup fee is non-refundable once work has begun, per Section 4.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
